Review Process

The selection process is made up of five steps that occur over a three-month period:
1. An interested family attends a one-hour informational meeting, where they will be given an application for homeownership. Schedule
2. The applicant must complete and submit the application and supporting materials by the deadline.
3. All applications will be reviewed in order of receipt to determine if the family meets the minimum income requirements.
4. If so, the family will schedule and attend a financial assessment meeting.
5. The family will schedule and attend a housing inspection meeting.

After this process is complete, the Family Selection Committee meets to make the final selection decisions.

If applicants fail to comply with the process requirements at any time, they will be deselected from the application process and encouraged to reapply at a later date.

We are pledged to the letter and spirit of U.S. policy for the achievement of equal housing opportunity throughout the nation. We encourage and support an affirmative advertising and marketing program in which there are no barriers to obtaining housing because of race, color, religion, sex, handicap, familial status, national origin, age, marital status, sexual orientation, or sources of income.
