This ministry started in 1994 by the pastor and leaders of Kern Road Mennonite Church, and today involves nearly forty churches in the planning, funding, and building of a home each summer. This is truly an ecumenical project. Our motivation is based on Matthew 25:34-40, which is the Scripture where Jesus tells his followers that when they do things for the "least of these," who are the poor, broken-spirited or desolate, we are in fact doing these things for Him.
Denise Herron and her children, Nia (8), Coy (7), and twins Rayshawn and Adrian (5), will be working alongside Matthew 25 to build their new home in Mishawaka!
