We accept donations of new and gently used building materials and fixtures in good working condition. Some materials are used directly in building Habitat homes, but most donations are sold to the public at 30 to 70 percent off of retail prices.

Donations to the ReStore may be tax deductible.

  • Computers
  • All televisions
  • Broken appliances
  • Blinds
  • Broken glass
  • Broken furniture
  • Partial cans of paint
  • Paint thinner or other toxic chemicals
  • Clothing
  • Trinkets

Check our donation guidelines for more information.

Donations can be dropped off at both ReStore locations Tuesday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., and on Saturdays, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

We can only accept items that we can resell or use in building Habitat homes. Acceptance is at our staff's discretion. If you have questions, please call prior to drop off.

Donation pick-ups are available. Please contact us to schedule a time. We are happy to help you however we can!

Donations to the ReStore may be tax deductible.
    Here's how it works:

  • When you donate, you will be given a receipt describing your donation.
  • The Habitat ReStore will not place a value on your donation. You are responsible for defining this amount.
  • Consult your tax professional or consult this IRS publication for more details.

Donating to the ReStore is more than just giving us your stuff. Your donations help fund more Habitat homes for hard-working, low-income families in our area. By donating to the ReStore, you are helping a family's dream of homeownership become a reality.

Thank you for your continued support!
  • To schedule a pick-up of large donations, please call (574) 254-4911.
E-mail the ReStore about your donation!

We cannot accept donations of toxic materials , such as paint thinner or partial cans of paint, or some electronics, such as computers and older television sets. The City of Mishawaka has facilities to handle this sort of material. Contact them here .
