Each year, AmeriCorps volunteers serve at local and national nonprofit organizations to help address critical needs in communities across the country. At Habitat for Humanity of St. Joseph County, AmeriCorps volunteers perform numerous duties essential to the success of our organization. Requirements to serve as an AmeriCorps volunteer
Be a U.S. citizen, national or legal permanent resident of the U.S. At least 18 years old Be willing to devote at least one year of service (1,700 hours) Be willing to live on a modest, bi-weekly living stipend
