Rock the House Student Build
"I owe all this to a bunch of teenagers!"
Lisa Ullery, 2010 Rock the House Partner Family
In partnership with the Habitat for Humanity ReStores of St. Joseph County, the Rock the House Student Build is an annual Habitat build completed in cooperation with area high school and college students from across St. Joseph County and beyond.
Through the Rock the House Student Build, students are putting school rivalry aside, taking a step outside of the classroom and, together as one united voice, are picking up hammers driving out poverty and substandard housing one nail at a time.
Since 2008 under the Rock the House Student Build program, more than 500 students have come together to raise over $140,000 and build four brand new Habitat homes in St. Joseph County.
